Where Faculty Club visitors can or should park depends upon the timing and purpose of their visit. Except for temporary loading spaces, all vehicles parked on the Berkeley Campus must display a campus permit.

Please be advised that the UC Parking & Transportation Office sets and enforces campus parking policies. Since these policies are subject to change without our knowledge, guests should read posted signs carefully before parking their vehicles. The Faculty Club is not responsible for parking citations. For more information, please visit UC Berkeley's Parking & Transportation homepage.

To avoid confusion and possible citation, please take a few moments to review the following suggestions on determining where to park.

Determining Where to Park

  • Disabled Visitors
    • While there are "blue" disabled parking spaces near our building, these still require that you display a campus or Faculty Club (TFC) permit. If the blue spaces are taken, the Faculty Club can provide disabled guests a permit for another TFC designated space, at no charge. You may call or come by our front desk to request a TFC permit. Please be advised that these spaces are limited and permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. We are therefore not able to guarantee spaces in advance. For a list of other campus lots with disability access, please visit UC Parking & Transportation's Accessibility page.

  • Hotel Guests
    • Hotel guests may purchase overnight parking permits at check-in. Overnight permits are $18 per night and valid from check-in until 2:00 p.m. the following day. These permits may be used in the Bancroft Parking Structure during the day and overnight and in other "C" lots anytime except between the hours of 2:00 a.m.- 5:00 a.m. Arriving guests should first park in one of the temporary spaces in the small lot near the east entrance of our building. For directions to this lot, please click here.

  • Kerr Dining Room Dinner Guests
    • Patrons who are having dinner in the Kerr Dining Room may request a Kerr parking permit, for complimentary parking in the Bancroft Parking Structure. These permits are valid between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

  • Weekday Visitors
    • Persons planning a short visit to the club, before 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, are advised to use one of the privately owned pay lots or a campus lot that allows hourly public parking. At campus parking lots without an attendant, visitors must pay in advance at a pay station.  Refer to posted signs for rates and instructions. The lots closest to the Faculty Club are located over several blocks, just to the southeast of central campus. View a map of the Faculty Club and suggested parking locations. Guests attending events lasting more than several hours may choose to purchase a Campus "C" Day Parking Permit. These permits are $18 and should be requested in advance through our Catering & Special Events Office. Please note that the Bancroft Parking Structure and the Boalt Lot, the campus lots closest to our building, are often filled to capacity between approximately 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

  • Weeknight and Weekend Visitors
    • Parking is generally more readily available after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends, when several campus lots, including the Bancroft Parking Structure, allow drivers without UC permits to purchase hourly parking. Unattended lots require that visitors pay in advance at a pay station.
