Another great winemaker's dinner is coming to the Club on April 18th.
Ray Coursen, owner and winemaker at the Elyse Winery (named after his daughter)
in Napa, has put his winemaking credo very clearly on the winery website: .When I
make a wine, my tastes and techniques will
influence the process, but what's most
important is the fruit. The fruit dictates what the wine will be.
Once again, it looks as though wine lovers are in for an interesting
evening, with the usual wonderful meal accompanied by specially selected wines. Reserve early and beat the rush.
Reception: 6 p.m., dinner: 7 p.m. $65 per person, all inclusive.
